About us

Network Essentials was started in 2001 and Tnessentials incorporated in 2002. We are licensed and insured in North Carolina D/B/A The Network Essentials. We are a Microsoft Gold Partner.  Our corporate office is located in SouthPark at 1515 Mockingbird Lane, Charlotte, NC 28209

What we do

We design, install and maintain computer networks based on Microsoft technologies for small businesses in the greater Charlotte, NC metro area. Network Essentials is a premier Managed Service provider. We offer a wide range of services that are designed to custom fit the needs of your business, whether replacing the need for dedicated IT support, to augment your current staff, or to provide service when you need it.

Our network engineers all have extensive industry experience and are Microsoft, Linux, Citrix, Sonicwall, Trixbox / Fonality and Cisco certified.Our MCSE/MCTS/ MCITP certified engineers are all experienced in the latest technologies including VPN, Router/Firewall configuration, Internet connectivity, wireless networking and computer system security. You can depend on us for all your Managed Services & Information Technology needs.

We use and recommend products & services from the following providers: Dell, Equallogic, SonicWall, HP Procurve, Xerox, IBM System X/ Lenovo as our main Hardware providers. Avaya, Trixbox / Asterisk Based Phone Systems integrated with Office Communication Server 2007 from Microsoft for Unified Communications, Microsoft, Citrix, RedHat / CentOS Linux, and VMWare for system and operating systems.

We incorporate a “state of the art” Help desk and Managed Services systems to provide the best proactive support available including 24×7 staffed Network Operations Center (NOC). We DO NOT outsource our NOC services to another company (as is becoming the trend to outsource overseas).  We have invested in the best systems available to ensure our clients systems are maintained,  Highly Available and monitored 24×7x365.
